Walking through the doors at Kelton’s Salon, you immediately feel at ease. A new haircut and a new look can be a life changing experience. Business partners, Sandy Walton and Karen Kelly feel honored to be a part of that experience. They have been in business together since 1978, each following their life long passion. They met at the Emerald Salon, moved on to Lafayette Square, and re-established themselves as Kelton’s Salon in the Enderle Center 16 years ago.
In addition to hair care, Kelton’s also offers brow artistry, permanent make-up, manicures, and skincare. In fact, Hoai Pham, their facialist, has been in the business for 22 years. A number of stylists even go on-site to weddings to beautify a bride and her attendants. The salon uses a variety of well known products, from Paul Mitchell to Redken, Sebastian to Schwarzkopf.
Sandy and Karen have shaped Kelton’s Salon into a close-knit, family oriented group. They are grateful to have many clients who have been with them since Kelton’s inception. As a thank you to their valued clients, Kelton’s hosts an annual week long buffet during the holiday season, complete with cappuccino and holiday decorations. Despite busy schedules, Sandy and Karen pursue their other passions outside of work. For Sandy, it’s spending time with her grandchildren, and for Karen, it’s her horse. A natural people-person, Sandy encourages you to visit Kelton’s Salon and meet her staff. She and Karen know that beauty is not always about how you look, but how you feel, and they would love to meet you and help change your life!
